Bonjour Mon Amis! I'm so excited that it's finally March! I've been waiting eagerly to write this post. Did you know that March 20th is Macaron Day? It was created by pastry genius, Pierre Hermé. If you happen to be in Paris on that day, you will get free macarons at any of his boutiques! Many cities including NYC have also joined in this tradition.
As you know, I love macarons so I want to celebrate too! In honor of the upcoming Macaron Day, I will host my first blog giveaway :) Did you notice the Eiffel Tower necklace above? I made it using all sterling silver materials and accented it with a sparkly pink crystal. It's very simple and pretty and very fitting for the occasion.
The winner of this giveaway will also receive two of my top selling photos (of macarons, of course!) at SoWa last year.
To enter (please do all 3!):
1. follow this blog,
2. "like" little random happiness on Facebook, and
3. write a comment below
Winner will be announced on Macaron Day. Good Luck!
{Open to all countries. Please enter by Monday, March 19th at 11pm EST. Winner will be chosen at random. Giveaway value at $65.}
I can't believe you made that necklace that's so amazing!

ReplyDeleteHow about real macarons instead of pictures??? ;)
Paris instead of Italy for my honeymoon.....hmmm :)
I think the Viet-French in me is calling.
Nina
I cheated and used google translate ;) In that case, I think I'm sweet or at least I hope so! I'm probably made out of sugar and butter by now lol. I would definitely have macarons giveaways if only they aren't so delicate. Tough pick...how about both places for your honeymoon? :)
DeleteOh no! I can't afford both. I have been thinking Italy, Florence and Rome, for the longest time. We'll have to wait and see. As for "sweets," if that's the case, then you are warm and sincere.
DeleteIf you've been longing to go to Italy then you must go there first :) Then maybe Paris for your 1st anniversary hehe. That's a lovely meaning for sweets :)
Deletethank u for sharing Phuong! i LOVE your blog & photos as usual :)
ReplyDeletei've yet been to Paris, yet to see the Eiffel Tower & yet to try a real French macaron :( but i've seen the "Red Eiffel Tower" - Tokyo Tower & eaten Japanese macarons :)
Thanks Carrie! Those are pretty awesome substitutions though! :)
DeleteI always wondered where you got that Eiffel Tower charm from. I loveee it! I really want some macarons now hehe. I typed macaron into yelp and it looks like more places around Boston are making them now. I fully intend to try them all out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris! I bought some new jams/preserves so I'll be making some pretty soon. I'll bring some at our next meeting :) Maybe we can do a Boston macaron crawl together!
DeleteLove Love Love! I'm a follower, and I've like you on FB! :)
