One of my friends love madeleines so I made mini ones for her birthday. I packed them in cute favor bags and they were the perfect after-dinner treats. These little cakes are so good and extremely addictive. I like eating them while enjoying a cup of tea. I love their shell shape and little potbellies on the other side :)
Btw, I used this recipe and these pans and were able to get 140 mini madeleines.
my whole family loved them. my dad even ask me to ask you for the recipe. but i knew you were gonna post it. =) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Judy! Love that your dad is a baker hehe :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I have been making Madeleines too!!! Though no where near as cute because they are full sized :P Bit of an adorable gift :) <3
ReplyDeleteReally? That's so funny! Our sweet tooth are thinking alike. Full-sized ones are great! I tried dipping the minis in my cup of tea and failed. Ended up dipping my fingers along with it lol
DeleteAlso what are your pans like please? Mine are non-stick and I still grease and dust them and I was wondering if you did too? Thank you :)

I used these pans. They're also non-stick but I still have to butter and flour them as well. Defeats the purpose of non-stick, doesn't it? ;)
