Washington D.C. 2009- Someone tied this cute string on the cherry blossom branch. Hope their wish came true! |
It's cherry blossom season and again my thoughts are with the people of Japan.
(Please help and donate if you haven't done so already.) I really hope that these beautiful flowers can lift up their spirits and give them something to look forward too. I am eagerly waiting for the day when I can visit Kyoto again during their cherry blossom season. Until then, we're lucky enough to have one close by in
Washington D.C. It's a great way to spend a long weekend. The views of the blossoms are just breathtaking and you also get to visit their awesome museums for free!
