Bouchon Bakery

I love that the fillings are piped to mimic the cookies' fluted edges...so pretty!
I'm back from a wonderful long weekend in NYC. I had so much fun visiting my sister and I can't wait to share all the pictures that I took on this little trip (so stay tuned!). Anyways, how beautiful are these cookies? I always stop by Bouchon Bakery to get them whenever I'm at Columbus Circle. They're called T.K.O. (Thomas Keller Oreo) and they taste so much better than the Oreos that we grew up with. The chocolate sablé cookies have a deep chocolate flavor with a hint of salt. The white chocolate ganache filling balances out the cookies' slight saltiness. I love that they are not too sweet. My sister got a Bavarian cream-filled donut that was rich and buttery. The chocolate pearls on top added a nice crunch to each bite. It was such an indulgence :)

    You already know my thoughts on this topic :) This is DEFINITELY being added to THE LIST - those TKO's look like a match made in heaven!!!

    OMggggggggg.....im drooling majorly! Those TKO looks delish! Yes, i agree, love how the white filling squirts out and forms the fluted edges like the cookie base/top:D Man, i so wanna try it right now!fedex pls!lol

    I actually tried Magnolia bakery when i went to new york years back, and i love that place too! Did u go this time?

    And are those Macarons that i spot?!I love them,the best ones i had was the time i went to Paris and a friend introduced me to Laduree.......yummmm

    @cinz: I didn't go to Magnolia this time but their cupcakes are good. I love how they swirl their frosting :) They have many locations now.

    Those are macarons hehe. Laduree is the best! They opened one in NYC recently and I made a visit there too! Will post about it soon.
