James and I finished our marriage prep class this past weekend. We learned so much about how to communicate better and what we both expect from our marriage. Topics like how many children do you want to have, how do you plan to spend the holidays, etc. may seem very basic but could be problematic if you've never discussed it with your partner. Having been together for so many years, we've talked about many of the topics before but it was nice to revisit them and discuss them further. Through this class, I feel that our relationship can be even better than what it already is and that's very exciting :)

DeleteYeah, marriage prep class is required for Catholics. The content of the class is good for any couple so I'm glad we had to go. I was very hesitant at first because I didn't want to go to class lol

Thanks Cinz! The class is required for Catholics and it was really interesting and helpful. They just want to make sure that we've discussed all the topics like financials, children, etc. before we get married :)
