My Newest Creation :)

I found these beautiful pink biscuits while shopping in a boutique chocolate shop and I had to get them. They're so pretty! I was told that French people dunk them in their champagne for a sweet treat. How wonderful is that? Although I haven't tried them with champagne yet, I was inspired to make a rose lychee tiramisu right when I saw these lovely pink biscuits.

Rose lychee is a flavor combination that I fell in love with when I tried Pierre Herme's Ispahan macarons. I was really excited to adapt it into a tiramisu version. I've never made tiramisu before and through my internet search, it doesn't look like anyone else have made a rose lychee tiramisu before either! IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I CAN BE THE FIRST ONE EVER? This thought alone was very exciting :) Even if I'm not, I'm really proud of how it turned out. I made changes to a matcha tiramisu recipe that I found and the result was amazing!

James also requested me to make the matcha tiramisu :) My family really enjoyed it at our New Year's celebration last weekend and that made me really happy. I can't wait to make it again and test out a few tweaks to my recipe. I will share it once I have the chance to test it out a few more times so stay tuned!
