Seattle's Gum Wall

Disco Bob's mysterious location on Monday's post is the Post Alley Gum Wall at Seattle's Pike Place Market. It's such an odd and sort of gross (imagine the germs!) attraction but it really makes for a great photo op. It's all good as long as you don't touch anything!

I love all the colors. It makes such a fun photo background. People even make artworks with their chewed up gums! The "Stuck On You" art (pictured right) is so great. How did they get it so high up?

This picture shows just how massive this gum wall is. There is also a gum ball machine on site but somehow I forgot to take a picture of it. You'll just have to take my word for it! Definitely not a must visit in Seattle but you'll probably be at the Pike Place Market anyways so just swing by for a quirky fun picture :)

  1. This makes me think of Elf. I imagine him picking pieces off and chewing...

  2. I am kind of grossed out and kind of really impressed!!!!!!!

  3. @hannah haha I totally forgot about that scene!

@erin it definitely made me feel the same way hehe

  4. Ew and wow! I think there are only certain parts of the country where something like this would "fly" with the locals; Seattle is one of them!

  5. Gross and beautiful all at the same time!
