I just want to share my sister's amazing makeup skills from last Halloween. I love how she did the lace pattern on her face. How cool is my little brother's burnt skin as the Terminator? She is just too talented! Be sure to check out her youtube page for helpful makeup tutorials or to hear her cover songs :) Btw, pumpkin carving pics will be posted on Wednesday!

Feeling the...
I am so excited to announce that I've received my first blog award from fellow blogger Nikki of Everything Under the Moon. She found me through SoWa and has awarded me with the Versatile Blogger Award. Thank you so much for reading my blog and for this recognition Nikki! :)
This is a fun award where I get to tell you 7 things about myself and also to pass on the award to 15 blogs that I am a fan of (you can read more about the rules here). It's such a great way to show my appreciation for these blogs and to share them with others. Well, here goes!
Seven things about me:
I love cute little knickknacks and miniature things.
I got my love for sweets and photography from my dad.
My fiancé and I were high school sweethearts.
To me, learning to swim is one of my biggest achievements.
I would love to live in Japan for a year.
Only my family knows how goofy I can be.
I love celebrations!
There are so many wonderful blogs out there. It's so hard to pick but here are 15 blogs that I'm currently following:

Past Peak
James and I finally had the time to drive up to Franconia Notch yesterday. We were a bit late for the best leaf-viewing but we still saw beautiful sights and had a great time during the long drive. Here are some of the pics from our little trip :)
Such a beautiful scenic drive |
We stopped by here for some yummy pancakes. It's so quaint and cute in there. |

My oatmeal buttermilk waffle with coconut. It was so good with the pure maple syrup. |
How dreamy is this view with the horse? |

Getting Ready
From left to right: James' baby pumpkin haha; Sis' mischievous cat (she won btw...so intricate!); Lil Bro's Naked Beauty; My curly tail cat; Older brother's devilish pumpkin |
My siblings and I are having our 2nd pumpkin carving competition this year. It's so fun to see what we each come up with. I have a pretty creative and artistic family so I need to up my game and come up with an awesome design this year :) Here are a few more pics from our first competition. Enjoy!
My happy cat with her little tail :) |
How perfect is this picture? Love how both of our cats are looking at each other from the corners of their eyes. |
Little bro's pumpkin in the center: I love how you can really see the small of her back (and ample bottom lol) in this pic. Very nicely done and super creative :) |

Happy Cake
How cute is this cake? I love the fluffiness of the whipped cream frosting (and that panda!). No wonder they're called cloud cakes :) This cake is from Tous Les Jours Bakery located in Hmart in Burlington, MA. I might have to buy one next time hehe.

Rich Traditions
Seeing this wedding makes me think of all the beautiful temples that we saw in Thailand. This is a close-up of one of the temples' intricate inlays. |
I am so in love with Bhutan's Royal Wedding that happened yesterday. King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck married his bride, Jetsun Pema, in a beautiful ancient Buddhist ceremony. I love all of the rich vibrant colors and the traditional outfits. It was such a feast for the eyes. While reading about the wedding, it was also really interesting to learn more about this little Himalayan nation and their charming King :)
I couldn't resist adding these photos. Don't they look amazing? Like they just walked out of a fairy tale. I wish them much love and happiness. It's so great to be able to see two very different but equally beautiful royal weddings this year ♥

(right) My lovely sis surrounded by delicious apples
I love James in his aviator sunglasses! Plus, the reflections captured are always fun. I might have to start a little collection of James and the reflections from his aviator :) |
Our signature jumping shot...we have so many of these pictures in different places lol |
Baked an apple pie for dessert |
Homemade apple pie and vanilla ice cream...the perfect way to end such a fun day |
